What are considered steriods????

What exactly do steroids pertain to? Any drugs that help you get stronger? What about how catchers drink 5 cups of coffee before a baseball game? Would that be considered cheating in a game? Should that be put down as steroids? What about Gatorade? On the commercials it says that Gatorade makes you proform better in physical activites? Is that a steriod? What do you think?

I think steroids would be any drug (medicine) that enhances your physical body. But, that wouldn't include over the counter stuff like protein or vitamins. If you can't get it at Rite Aid or Walgreens (etc.) then it's a steroid. (unless, of course, you are prescribed steroids by a docter [but I don't think doctors should prescribe it unless very crucialy needed])

I agree with Alyssa. Steroids are considered drugs that enhance your performance that you cant get over the counter. Gatorade, coffee, and other things like that could help your performance. But technically, it isn't considered cheating. If everyone else can do it, and you won't get in trouble for it then it doesn't count as a steroid for cheating. Even with the Gatorade and coffee, everyone still has a fair chance because the other team could have had the same energy drinks as the "cheating" team. So really, if both teams are using performance inhancers that aren't illegal, then it makes no difference to who wins or loses.
