What are considered steriods????

What exactly do steroids pertain to? Any drugs that help you get stronger? What about how catchers drink 5 cups of coffee before a baseball game? Would that be considered cheating in a game? Should that be put down as steroids? What about Gatorade? On the commercials it says that Gatorade makes you proform better in physical activites? Is that a steriod? What do you think?

Energy Drinks

Our body uses cellular respiration to produce energy. But, we can now drink a can of an energy drink to get a quick burst of energy. Energy drinks can actually damage your heart, and, if you drink too many, can cause the same "buzzed" effects of alcohol.
Many teens today drink energy drinks. They are very harmful to teens because they are still growing, where as they don't affect adults as drastically. So, should teens drink energy drinks? Should adults? Does it matter?

CLONING

One controversial discovery in modern science is that of cloning. Though we have yet to clone human beings, we have already cloned animals and plants. For instance, we have cloned a sheep by a process called " somatic cell nuclear transfer" or SCNT. This is a process by which genetic material is transferred from the nucleus of an adult donor cell to an egg whose nucleus has been removed.

Though we have already cloned animals and plants, there are many people who oppose experimenting on human beings. Discuss your opinions on the issue.
